Internship in a country with which or in which a student will work in the future is the best way to improve the proficiency of the language one learns, and to know, to understand and to appropriate the way of working of the people with whom one will work in the future. Moreover, living in any country will increase the personal and professional relationship of the student concerned with the local, national, or international representatives, thing necessary for one’s future career.
As a basic rule, therefore, internship in an Asian country of which a student learns the language is compulsory at the end of each level of study, three months for M1, six months for M2. However, internship in another country of which a student learns the language is possible based on a written request explaining the reasons and co-signed by the Asian language teacher concerned by the student.
The internship can be done in a company or in other types of institution, such as embassy, chamber of commerce and industry, centres of research or education, N.G.O.,… especially those having relationship with business world.
To find the place for internship is a part of the study process the students have to pass by, under the supervision and, if necessary, with the help of the academic staff.
The financing of internship is under the responsibility of the student concerned. Most of the time, the students obtain an allowance from the company or institution in which they do their internship. In any case, a financial support can be obtained from diverse sources accessible from the university.
