Missions
Updated on: 08/12/2023Initial and lifelong training, orientation and professional integration, research and innovation, international cooperation, economic and social involvement… The ULHN is totally engaged in all its missions.
As for every university, they have been redefined by law of July 22nd 2013 :
- Initial training
- Continuing training
- Scientific and technologic research and optimisation of research results
- Innovation and technologic transfer
- Orientation and professional integration
- Dissemination of culture and scientific and technical information
- Social responsibility of the institution
- Participation in the construction/development of a common European area of higher education and research
- International cooperation
While the ULHN is involved in all these obligations, student success remiens its priority. Indeed, it did not wait for professional integration to be included in the law to have it for objective by creating, in 1995, an employment and professional integration bureau.
Similarly, it starded to care very early about its social mission and its role in the region.
