This program is a special syllabus taught in English at ISEL (Institut Supérieur d’Etudes Logistiques), designed for international students and it is offered only for the spring semester (from March to June). All topics are taught in English.

French Humanities
The new “French humanities” program enables international students to discover French humanities, which is to be understood here as a program divided into language, history, literature, civilisation and French culture classes.
This training course will offer a rich and solid discovery of its different fields, taking into account the students’ particularities regarding they level in French as a Foreign Language and regarding diverse cultural references.
Designated skills and proficiency :
- Intensive learning of the French language
- Knowledge building in the targeted fields (literature, French language and history of France)
- Further cultural knowledge opening (theatre, cinema, youth literature and French music)
- Realisation of an individual documentary research project in French
A rich program of minimum 150 hours of courses per semester and an exceptional cultural experience in the heart of the Normandy region! For the time being, “French humanities” program is only offered during the Fall semester (September to January).
“French humanities” is an opportunity to discover not only the homeland of the enlightment and of Human Rights, arts, gastronomy, fashion, cinema, but also a language and a culture supporting values spread around the world. Moreover, the extracurricular activities included in the program is an excellent way for international students to meet people, improve their language skills, and integrate more fully the community, that make them feel welcome, whether it’s social with French students, dance programs, theatre shows, etc.
“French humanities” is a welcoming culture programme combined with a stimulating student life on the multicultural Campus Le Havre Normandie that encourages exchanges between French and international students, thus creating an ideal environment to learn French.
This language and culture program is provided free of charge for exchange students. In addition to these courses, a program of activities (cultural tour in the area, exhibits, theatre, etc.) is offered also free of charge.
Additional activities apart from those offered by this program, are organised by the International Office (Christmas party, bowling, Languages Café with French and international students, picnic at the beach integrated to the French Intensive course, etc…)
