Artistic and cultural workshops
Updated on: 10/06/2026
Whether you’re a student at the Université Le Havre Normandie or another higher education establishment in Le Havre, the cultural department, in collaboration with CROUS Normandie, offers you the chance to discover a wide variety of artistic and cultural practices, supervised by professionals.
Workshops
Choir workshop
With Delphine Baud, musician, singer and teacher at the Conservatoire Arthur Honegger.
Come and discover the art of singing and revisit your favorite songs, all in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The repertoire will be chosen by the male and female singers in the choir, so get your playlists ready! From the bathroom to the stage, there’s only one step! All levels welcome.
A restitution will take place in March 2026.
In partnership with the Arthur Honegger Conservatory.
Every Monday from 8pm to 9:15pm from September 29, 2025 – Conservatoire Arthur Honegger, 70 Cours de la République, 76600 Le Havre
Silver photography workshop
Would you like to discover or deepen your knowledge of film photography?
Olivier Roche (photographer) invites you to explore the world of black and white, film and manual printing in an introductory workshop open to beginners and enthusiasts alike. You’ll learn how to handle a film camera, develop your films and print your images in the Maison de l’Étudiant laboratory.
A selection of the work produced will be presented at a group exhibition at the end of the academic year.
Every other Thursday from 4pm to 6:30pm from October 2, 2025 – Maison de l’Étudiant.
Photographic workshop - alternative practices
With Olivier Roche, artist photographer.
Come and experiment with the Polaroid with its unique colors, the digital pinhole and its primitive form of photographic optics, and develop your eye with street photography as well as portraits, exploiting natural light and unusual locations.
A selection of the work produced will be presented at an exhibition at the end of the academic year.
Every other Thursday from 4pm to 6:30pm, starting October 9, 2025 – Maison de l’Étudiant
Theater workshop
With Caroline Stella (author, actress and artistic director of compagnie Grischkør) and Sarah Masson (author, performer and radio producer).
What would be the playlist of our time? One that, in twelve tracks, would cover the concerns, aspirations and great unknowns of your generation? The one that would make us want to dance again under a rain of ashes? And what story could we write together based on this ideal playlist, to continue deciphering bits and pieces of the world around us?
Play the game of collective and stage writing, from the first questions to the elaboration of a show combining writing, acting and radio performance.
A public restitution will take place in March 2026.
In partnership with Le Volcan, scène nationale du Havre, and with the support of DRAC support.
Every Thursday from 6pm to 9pm from October 9, 2025 – Maison de l’Étudiant.
Plastic Arts Workshop
With LHAB (Le Havre Art Base), a collective of visual artists.
Over the course of the year, three cycles will enable you to meet different artists and discover their creative processes and techniques (publishing, silk-screening, drawing inspired by architecture in Le Havre). Above all, it’s a time for artistic discovery and sharing.
A selection of the work produced will be presented at a group exhibition at the end of the academic year.
Every Thursday from 3pm to 5:30pm from October 2, 2025 – Maison de l’Étudiant
Workshop Cinema Interactive film
With Benjamin Cocquenet from Live Creative
Take part in the making of an interactive film and discover how this device feeds the entire creative process, from writing to editing.
In writing, constructed in the form of a tree structure, choice can multiply points of view and make a simple story complex. You’ll need to consider all possible solutions, and focus on the story’s forks in the road. Finally, your creation will be edited in a software program that will determine the navigation proposed to the viewer.
Every Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm – Maison de l’Étudiant.
From 02/10/2025.
Tuesday lunchtime workshops
The cultural department invites you to discover the world and practice of various artists on Tuesday lunchtimes: Bana Naskit (drawing), Julie Aubourg (visual arts), Studio Courte Echelle (visual arts)…
These workshops are free, open to all, and no registration is required!
Tuesday lunchtimes between 12pm and 1:30pm, from October 7 2025 – Maison de l’Étudiant
