Updated on: 10/06/2026Since 2001, the universities of Le Havre Normandie and Rouen Normandie have had a joint publishing department: PURH (Presses Universitaires de Rouen et du Havre). They have the skills and resources to manage the entire the entire publishing chain, from art to digital books.
PURH has never ceased to develop and renew itself, and remains a benchmark among university publishing houses in France. Their catalog – multidisciplinary, even if the humanities have a special place – comprises over 1,000 titles in some forty collections covering all fields of knowledge, with a particular focus on the Humanities and Social Sciences.
