Le Havre Normandie University is a founding member of the “Normandie Université” Community of Universities and Institutions (ComUE), which also includes the universities of Caen Basse-Normandie and Rouen, two engineering schools – ENSICAEN and INSA de Rouen – and the Ecole nationale supérieure d’architecture de Normandie.
Building on more than a decade of active cooperation, these establishments have decided to join forces on an interregional scale. Normandie Université is the federating instrument for higher education and research establishments in Normandy, and the place where cooperative and mutualized strategies for higher education, research and development are developed on an inter-regional scale.
Normandie Université helps to boost the attractiveness and visibility of its members, and to develop a policy of scientific collaboration between establishments, in relation with the socio-economic world and local players.
Normandie Université also aims to take a new step in the construction of a Norman research and higher education area, a vector for Normandy’s international influence.
