The University of Le Havre Normandie brings together nearly 8,000 students and 900 teaching and administrative staff at three university sites in the heart of a city open to the world.
A multidisciplinary university, its academic offering is based on more than one hundred degrees and qualifications, from undergraduate level to doctoral level. Renewed for the 2022–2027 period, the academic offering is designed to facilitate students’ professional integration while promoting their international mobility.
Firmly rooted in its region, Université Le Havre Normandie structures its educational project with the support of excellent research. As a key player in the innovation ecosystem, Université Le Havre Normandie continues its development through research activities that address major societal challenges.

The 12 laboratories at the University of Le Havre Normandie bring together lecturers, researchers and doctoral students in the following disciplines:

– 12 laboratories (6 in science and technology, 6 in humanities and social sciences), including 2 joint research units with CNRS and 1 with INERIS
– 8 doctoral schools run by Normandie Université, around 180 theses prepared in Le Havre every year.
