Collaborations between university laboratories and socio-economic partners can take various forms:
- Setting up joint projects to respond to calls for projects, such as those from the ANR (French National Research Agency) or European projects, etc.
- Hosting students in companies, including CIFRE agreements for doctoral students and internships
- Research collaboration agreements to solve a common problem, overcome a technological barrier, etc.
- Service provision agreements for the application, for the benefit of the company, of a technique or technology whose expected outcomes are known
- Expertise agreements on a specific issue
