– Obtain a provisional certificate of approval from the head of the training program.

As resuming your studies is not free, a meeting with the training engineer is necessary to determine the best solution for you (see financing arrangements). This discussion will cover the financing arrangements, the choice of status (student or vocational training trainee) and any adjustments to the course and tests, if necessary to accommodate a disability.
The aim is also to answer any questions you may have, and to support you in your project.

University Access Diploma (DAEU)

The DAEU is a diploma for people who, for various reasons, interrupted their studies before obtaining the Baccalauréat. A true national diploma, it confers the same rights as those attached to the Baccalauréat. It represents a genuine second chance for those who have left the school system without any qualifications. It is offered face-to-face for the DAEU A (Literary); and via distance learning for the DAEU A (Literary) and B (Scientific). This is the DAEU Sonate.

The DAEU has several objectives:

• Hold a national diploma equivalent to the Baccalauréat,
• Access to higher education,
• Applying for category B civil service competitions,
• Refresh your knowledge.

Maritime and river expert university diploma (bac + 5)

A marine and river surveyor is a professional who specializes in assessing, analyzing and advising on issues relating to marine and river transport, as well as the management of assets and activities in these sectors. He is mainly involved in the following areas:

Career transition preparation for professionals with real experience of the sea in senior positions. The Maritime Expert and Maritime Transport University Diploma is accessible via the collective VAE for UPEM members.

University diploma in training (bac + 3).

The aim is to train advisors capable of assisting companies, training organizations or consultancies, developing and implementing training initiatives and handling the financial arrangements for training schemes.

The training consultant assists individuals or companies in choosing and implementing training solutions tailored to their needs. They provide advice, guidance and management in the field of professional training.

Master Intervention et développement social, course: Innovation and development in the field of the Social Solidarity Economy. This program is the result of a reflection and pedagogical co-construction between the university and IFEN, focusing on the challenges of the SSE field, the evolution of social action professions and the training needs to meet tomorrow’s challenges in terms of innovation and development, in the field of social work and the SSE.

TOEIC Listening and Reading

Promote your English skills to employers. The University of Le Havre Normandie is accredited to train people returning to school and to administer the TOEIC tests. These tests enable non-native English speakers to accurately assess their level of English proficiency in a professional context.

It ranks each candidate on a scale from beginner to advanced. It has become the standard by which companies assess their level of English.

ITIIN Engineering Diploma (Bac +5)

In partnership with the Institut des Techniques d’Ingénieur de l’Industrie de Normandie (ITIIN)

This 2-year course is run in alternating 15-day periods at the CFAI de l’Eure in Evreux and Puteaux. The aim of the program is to train multi-disciplinary field engineers with a focus on Production, Mechanics and Industrial Logistics, working in an industrial environment.

The following may be admitted under FC status:

• Holders of a scientific or technical Bac+2 with at least three years’ professional experience at senior technician level in the technical fields of mechanics and production.
• Candidates who do not have the required level can take a VAP 85 (Validation des Acquis Professionnels) course and be exempted from certain courses.
