Firmly rooted in its region, the Université Le Havre Normandie stands out for its innovative projects, in line with the specific characteristics of its environment, while actively contributing to innovation and the transformation of the Le Havre basin.
Université Le Havre Normandie plays a key role in the development of higher education and research, both in Le Havre and across Normandy. A member of the Normandie Université community of universities and institutions, Université Le Havre Normandie initiated the Maritime and Port Territories Polytechnic Campus and leads the EUNICoast European Alliance.
Université Le Havre Normandie brings together more than 7,000 students and nearly 900 teaching and administrative staff across three university sites located at the heart of a city open to the world.
As a multidisciplinary university, its academic offering is based on more than one hundred degrees and qualifications, from undergraduate level to doctoral level, and is designed to facilitate students’ professional integration while promoting their international mobility.
The university structures its educational project with the support of research that drives the innovation ecosystem. The institution continues its development by building on research activities organised within 12 laboratories, addressing major societal challenges.
