The CERMUD laboratory at the University of Le Havre Normandy, in partnership with the University of Oldenburg (Germany), is organizing a two-day seminar on October 6 and 7, 2026, dedicated to “Maritime and Port Litigation,” to be held at the University of Le Havre Normandy.
This event builds on the work conducted jointly with the University of Oldenburg as part of the PHC Procope program awarded to both teams. It will provide a first opportunity to address emerging maritime and port disputes through a multidisciplinary approach.
The two days will be devoted to complementary topics: the first will focus on the legal study of the marine environment, particularly from the perspective of biodiversity law, while the second will be dedicated to the main contractual aspects of international trade in goods, such as documentary credit and electronic bills of lading.
