The renovation work on the two skylights in the lobby of the Faculty of Science and Technology (Lebon Campus) are part of the University of Le Havre Normandy’s commitment to continuing the renovation and modernization of its facilities, thereby improving the environment and working conditions for the entire university community.

With a total investment of €350,000, this project aims to address the significant water leakage issues that have persisted for many years and to significantly improve the building’s thermal performance.

The new skylights, along with the work carried out on the roofs in their immediate vicinity, will be insulated to meet the highest current standards. This renovation will thus improve user comfort while helping to reduce the building’s energy loss.

Work is currently underway and is expected to be completed sometime in September. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to modernize the University of Le Havre Normandy’s building stock, as the university continues to invest in buildings that are more energy-efficient, more comfortable, and better suited to the needs of students and staff.

Through these initiatives, the University of Le Havre Normandy reaffirms its commitment to the quality of its facilities, to improving study and work conditions, and to the energy efficiency of its buildings.
